The MMSD Board of Education appointed former MMSD administrator, Lisa Kvistad, to serve as interim superintendent during the 2023-2024 school year while a search is underway for the district's next permanent leader.

As part of the search effort, Alma Advisory Group is carrying out a survey to understand what the Madison community cares about most for the future of our district. Your perspectives and insights will help inform MMSD's approach to recruiting, interviewing and eventually selecting the next Superintendent.

The MMSD Board of Education also invites you to share your thoughts and opinions at upcoming in-person listening sessions to help form the leadership profile for the next superintendent. Alma Advisory Group will be on-site to collect feedback from teachers and staff, students, parents/families, and community members.
