Capital High has a new home, thanks to Referenda 2020! Students were welcomed into a brand new learning space at the start of the 2023-24 school year after the Hoyt School building (previously occupied by MSCR) was renovated to provide a new home for Capital High. Previously, Capital High’s 190 students were split between two buildings, with 90 students receiving their education in a leased strip mall site with a 60-person capacity on the far West side of Madison, and the rest in a borrowed space on the third floor of 4K-2 Lapham Elementary School.
